Demolition · Coffs Coast

Demolition in Coffs Harbour and Sawtell.

Old shed, carport, deck, fence or slab in the way? We pull it down, sort what is worth saving and load the rest straight into the tipper, across Coffs Harbour, Sawtell, Bonville and the Mid North Coast.

Small-structure demolition, done tidy

BFEx does demolition at the scale a 6-tonne excavator and a tipper handle well: sheds, carports, pergolas and decks, old fences and gates, concrete slabs, paths and footings, and the site strip and clean-up that comes after.

The excavator does the pulling and lifting, timber and steel get stacked for salvage or scrap where it makes sense, and everything else goes out in the Hino.

We don't remove asbestos. If a structure could contain it (fibro sheeting, old roofing, vinyl floors), it needs a licensed asbestos removalist before demolition starts. Tell us what you know about the building and we'll tell you straight whether that step comes first.

Common questions

Do I need approval to demolish a shed?

Often small demolition is exempt or complying development, but it depends on the structure, where it sits and whether heritage or boundary rules apply. Check with council or your certifier, and ask us: we'll tell you if a job looks like it needs a check first.

What happens to the rubbish?

It gets sorted on site. Timber and steel that are worth saving are stacked, and the rest goes out in the tipper to the tip or a recycler. Disposal is shown as its own line in the quote.

Can you do the new slab or pad afterwards?

Yes. Once the old structure is gone we can cut and level the pad, dig the footings or trenches and prepare the ground for the builder.

Something to come down?
